Diabetes Prevention Program
The YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program offers 16 weekly one hour sessions and 8 monthly maintenance sessions which provide group support and information on reducing and eliminating risks for type 2 diabetes. Learn how to make better food choices and incorporate physical activity into your daily schedule. The importance of managing healthy behavior changes for long term prevention will also be emphasized.

Cancer is a life-changing disease that takes a tremendous physical and emotional toll on those affected. The Y and LIVESTRONG have joined together to create LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a research-based physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors reclaim their total health. Participants work with Y staff trained in supportive cancer care to safely achieve their goals such as building muscle mass and strength; increasing ﬂexibility and endurance; and improving conﬁdence and self-esteem. By focusing on the whole person and not the disease, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is helping people move beyond cancer in spirit, mind and body.

EnhanceFitness is a proven community based senior fitness and arthritis management program. Its purpose is to help older adults become more active, energized, and empowered for independent living. The program consists of low impact exercise classes that are safe and challenging for older adults of all fitness levels.
Times of Classes: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday @ 9:45 am
